Briar Hill Trademark x Cedarfarm Liberty, by MG's Black Diamond

Liberty Road possesses many physical attributes we were hoping to utilize within our program, paired with a fantastic mind and an impeccable pedigree. It's no secret that we were fans of the horses that came out of the Cedarfarm program. We utilized Liberty's 3/4 brother, Cedarfarm Ontario, extensively within our program and some of our best producers descend from daughters of his. They tend toward having longer hips, good conformation and the willing and eager minds we look for in a performance horse. In our initial discussions regarding what sort of jr horse we might like to add to the program in future years, those things were at the top of our list. Not because we had lost them, but because we wanted to intensify them. Hours were spent on the Association studbook to inspect options we thought might have those specific attributes; but those things alone aren't quite enough in todays market - they have to have the movement to be top performance prospects.

We'd had our eye on Liberty Road as a potential cross to make on a few of our mares for quite a few years. This season, we decided to take the leap and send a couple mares to him, never dreaming that a couple months later, the opportunity to add him to our program would be offered to us.

We are eagerly considering which mares we might pair him up with in 2026!

He is currently booked full for 2026. Check back for availability in 2027, outside services are limited.
